US Natural Gas Corp acquires mineral rights in West Virginia

EBR Staff Writer Published 02 September 2010

US Natural Gas Corp, an energy exploration company with operations in the Appalachian Basin, has acquired 120 acres of mineral rights in Wayne County, West Virginia.

The parcel of land associated with the mineral rights is surrounded by several highly productive wells drilled to depths of up to 5000ft.

US Natural Gas Corp president Wayne Anderson said that the acquisition of the mineral rights allows the company to further expand into an area it believes to be a very viable target for one of its upcoming drilling programs.

US Natural Gas Corp is principally engaged in the acquisition, exploration and development of mature long-lived oil and natural gas properties.

The company's current operations are concentrated in the Appalachian Basin within the states of Kentucky and West Virginia.
