Grid Petroleum finalizes negotiations to acquire US-based company

EBR Staff Writer Published 02 February 2012

Grid Petroleum Corp has finalized negotiations for the acquisition of a private holding company, with oil and gas interests in a 5,000-acre tract of land in central Texas, US.

According to the company, the underlying oil and gas interests have been estimated to contain reserves of over 20 million barrels of oil and 15 billion cubic feet of natural gas.

Onsite oil production mitigates exploration risk and provides for in-field drilling opportunities from multiple pay zones, Grid Petroleum said.

Grid Petroleum is focused on the acquisition and development of low cost high reward oil and gas prospects with infield drilling for proven potential reserves in the US and Canada.
